Dialup Internet Account Policies:
Rates – Automatically Includes High-Speed Propel Accelerator.
$13.00/month, billed quarterly.
$140.00/Annually.
All LIG/Cayuga Internet Accounts are billed quarterly or
annually only. All accounts must be invoked for a minimum of 3
months, and maintained in 3 month or annual increments. As of
January 15, 2002 all new and existing billed LIG/Cayuga Internet
accounts are due in full within 30 days of the invoice date.
This means you will receive an invoice for $39 for 3 calendar
months of service, or $140 for one calendar year of service.
Prepayment will be the only accepted terms on accounts that have
previously paid late, or have not paid at all. Payments can be
made via credit card, money order, or personal check to the
address listed below. Once a new account has been activated, no
refunds or credit will be issued unless it is determined that
the cause of the problem is due to LIG/Cayuga Internet. In these
cases, only extended service will be rewarded as compensation.
It is the customers responsibility to inform LIG/Cayuga Internet
of account cancellations prior to the requested cancellation
date. Delinquent accounts will be disabled until payment is
received, and may be terminated without notice or explanation.
It is your (the customers) responsibility to verify that
LIG/Cayuga Internet dialup service is a local non-toll call from
your location. LIG/Cayuga Internet is not responsible for long
distance and/or phone related charges under any circumstances.
If you are unsure which access number to use, we highly
recommend you contact your phone provider to verify that the
number you are dialing is a local non-toll call.
Dialup Internet Account Refund Policies
There is no refund for monthly (credit card) or quarterly
(invoiced) customers. LIG/Cayuga Internet will refund customers
who have subscribed to annual subscriptions only. Refunds will
be calculated and pro-rated for the unused portion of their
service at normal monthly rates. Refunds will be issued within
four (4) weeks of cancellation.
